David Morgan-Davies

I use photography and film to explore ideas about a landscape or environments I have a personal connection with. Since moving back to South Wales in 2019, I have been re-connecting with the area I left when I was a child. Often investigating what isn’t there, just as much as what is, I follow a ‘less is more’ approach that hints at human activity.

After studying Music technology at the London Guildhall University in the 80’s I worked in the Music Industry and then in computing/software development. In 2003 I combined my knowledge of sound and technology with my passion for photography to study an MA in Interactive Media at UWE (University of the West of England), before concentrating fully on my own creative practise.
