Like many during the various Covid lockdowns, I spent a lot of time looking out of windows. Thoughts of travelling even short distances were replaced by the reality of a daily walk around the block near my home. These walks gave much pleasure, but still I dreamt of going beyond the bricks and mortar of the terraced houses in front and the hospital behind.
